I'll show you how to wrap the cookie dough around the candy, bake the cookies, and finish them with melted chocolate and candy corn.
Ingredients You Will Need
- Butter (½ cup), softened: - Provides rich flavor and structure to the cookie dough.
- Peanut Butter (½ cup): - Standard creamy peanut butter works best (avoid natural oil-separating peanut butter for proper texture).
- Granulated Sugar (½ cup) - Sweetens the dough and creates lightly crisp edges.
- Brown Sugar (½ cup): - Adds moisture and a hint of caramel flavor for cookies.
- Baking Soda (1 teaspoon): - Helps the cookies rise and spread as they bake.
- Salt (½ teaspoon): - Balances the sweetness.
- Egg (1): - Helps bind the dough together.
- Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon): - Adds rich flavor depth.
- Milk (1 tablespoon): - Adds just enough moisture to keep the dough pliable for wrapping.
- All-Purpose Flour (1¾ cups): - Gives structure to hold the chocolate stuffed center.
- Miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups: - The hidden "treasure" center!
- Milk Chocolate Morsels (1 cup): - Melted and spread over the baked cookies.
- Candy Corn: - One piece on top of each cookie for decoration.
