Roasted Asparagus


This is an easy, simple recipe that makes a delicious veggie side dish.




Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Rinse and clean asparagus.
Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus.
Dry asparagus between paper towels.
Place on a baking sheet.
Add olive oil, salt and black pepper.
Toss together until the asparagus is evenly coated.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until tender.
