Easy Lasagna


This quick and easy lasagna makes a delicious dinner! It's great served with garlic bread.




Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
  • 28 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 6 uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Take an 11 x 7 baking dish or pan and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a bowl, add ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, egg and spinach.
Mix together until well combined and then set aside.
Spread 1/3 of the spaghetti sauce into the bottom of the prepared baking dish or pan.
Place 3 uncooked lasagna noodles on top.
Evenly spread on the ricotta cheese mixture.
Sprinkle on the grated parmesan cheese.
Spread on another 1/3 of the spaghetti sauce.
Top with 3 more uncooked lasagna noodles and then your remaining spaghetti sauce.
Cover tightly with foil and bake in oven for 1 hour.
Remove from oven.
Remove the foil and sprinkle remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
Return to oven for an additional 5 - 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
