Clean strawberries and cut each one in half. Set aside.
In a saucepan, add sugar and corn starch.
Stir together until completely combined.
Add water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and becomes clear.
Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Place a layer of strawberries into the bottom of the baked pie shell.
Pour some of your cooled gelatin mixture over the strawberries and spread evenly.
Place your final layer of strawberries on top.
Spread your remaining gelatin mixture on top.
Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
Delicious served with whipped cream.
