Chocolate Covered Saltine Crackers
Ingredients:
- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 11.5 ounces milk chocolate morsels
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup toffee pieces
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- candy sprinkles
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Line cookie sheet with foil and lightly spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place 40 saltine crackers, salty side up, onto your prepared cookie sheet. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, add butter and light brown sugar.
- Melt together, stirring constantly, and boil for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Pour the mixture over the crackers.
- Bake in the oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Remove from oven and pour chocolate morsels over the top.
- As the morsels begin to melt, use a knife to evenly spread the mixture over the crackers.
- Then sprinkle toffee pieces, nuts and candy sprinkles on top.
- Place in refrigerator to cool completely and setup.
- Carefully remove from foil and break into pieces to serve.
