Chocolate Covered Saltine Crackers



Ingredients:

  • 40 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 11.5 ounces milk chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup toffee pieces
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup chopped nuts
  • candy sprinkles

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line cookie sheet with foil and lightly spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Place 40 saltine crackers, salty side up, onto your prepared cookie sheet. Set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, add butter and light brown sugar.
  5. Melt together, stirring constantly, and boil for 3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Pour the mixture over the crackers.
  8. Bake in the oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and pour chocolate morsels over the top.
  10. As the morsels begin to melt, use a knife to evenly spread the mixture over the crackers.
  11. Then sprinkle toffee pieces, nuts and candy sprinkles on top.
  12. Place in refrigerator to cool completely and setup.
  13. Carefully remove from foil and break into pieces to serve.
