Jalapeño Cheese Ball


This easy recipe makes a colorful and flavorful party food.




Ingredients:

  • 2, 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup diced jalapeño pepper
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, red bell pepper
and jalapeño pepper.
Mix together until well blended.
Form mixture into a ball.
Wrap cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate until it sets up.
While the cheese ball is chilling, chop enough pecans to make 1 cup. Set aside.
After the cheese ball is chilled, roll it in the chopped pecans until completely covered.
Serve with your favorite crackers.
