This buckeye recipe is easy to make and turns out rich and delicious! Buckeyes are also known as chocolate covered peanut butter balls.
Ingredients:
1 stick oleo or butter
12 ounces peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 lb powdered sugar
11.5 ounce package chocolate chips
2 ounces paraffin wax
Directions:
Mix together oleo, peanut butter, vanilla and sugar.
Use hands to make into smooth 1 inch balls.
In a double boiler or microwave safe dish in the microwave, melt
the chocolate chips and paraffin.
With a toothpick, dip all but the very top of the balls into the melted chocolate paraffin mixture.
Drop onto wax paper to cool.
