Breakfast Casserole


A delicious and easy breakfast casserole that can be prepared ahead and baked the next day.




Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 2 cups dry chicken StoveTop Stuffing
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage and crumble. Drain off any excess liquid and set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl add StoveTop Stuffing, milk, cooked sausage, onion and red bell pepper.
In another bowl, whisk together 6 eggs.
Pour whisked eggs over StoveTop Stuffing mixture.
Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir together until well combined.
Pour into your prepared baking dish.
Bake in the oven for 45 - 50 minutes.
