A rich, chewy, chocolate treat that is easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups roughly chopped pecans
2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted
14 oz caramel ice cream topping
1, 11.5 oz package milk chocolate morsels
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Roughly chop enough pecans to make 1 1/2 cups and set aside.
In a bowl, add flour and brown sugar.
Mix together.
Add melted butter and mix together well.
Evenly press the mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan or dish.
Sprinkle your chopped pecans evenly on top.
Warm the caramel ice cream topping and then drizzle it over the pecans.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the caramel is bubbling.
Remove from oven and place on a wire rack.
Sprinkle the milk chocolate morsels on top.
Let this sit for a few minutes and then evenly spread the melted chocolate morsels over the caramel and pecans.
Let cool for several hours or until the chocolate has set up.
Cut into squares to serve.
