These Easy and Delicious Confetti Cookies Are Bursting With Colorful Sprinkles and Flavor!

Whether you're planning a birthday party, a festive gathering, or simply want to brighten up your day, confetti cookies are a great addition to any occassion.

Tips For Making Easy and Delicious Confetti Cookies

  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing can make your cookies tough.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just golden brown. Overbaking will make them dry.
  • If you don't have sprinkles on hand, you can substitute chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit.
  • If you want to make your cookies ahead of time, you can chill the dough for up to 24 hours before baking. Just be sure to let the dough come to room temperature before baking.

Variations

  • If you are a chocolate lover, add 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips to the dough to make decadent chocolate chip confetti cookies.
  • For an extra burst of flavor, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract along with the vanilla extract. This adds a subtle nutty tone to the cookies.

Cooling and Storage

  • Once the cookies are baked, remove them from the oven and let them stay on the baking sheet for about 4 to 5 minutes. This allows them to set slightly before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Confetti cookies are best enjoyed fresh from the oven, but they can also be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
