Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
Unwrap some Hershey Kisses and set aside.
Drain maraschino cherries on paper towels. Make sure the cherries have stems as the stem is the tail of the mouse.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt some dipping chocolate in the microwave. You could also melt the chocolate in a double boiler on the stove.
Dip the whole cherry into the chocolate by holding on to the stem or tail.
Place the dipped cherry onto the wax paper on its side.
While the chocolate is still soft and gooey, gently press the bottom of a Hershey Kiss into the chocolate on the cherry. The pointy part should be sticking out.
Place two sliced almond pieces between the chocolate kiss and the cherry for the ears.
Repeat the process with the rest of the cherries.
Using colored icing, pipe on eyes and a nose. You may use any color you like.
Repeat process for the remaining cherries.
