Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce
Ingredients:
Bread Pudding:
- 12 slices bread
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding
Vanilla Sauce:
- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding
- 3 cups milk
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Break the slices of bread into smaller pieces.
Place bread pieces into a 2 quart casserole dish.
In a mixing bowl, add sugar, cinnamon, eggs, 2 cups milk and 1 package of instant vanilla pudding.
Mix together until well combined.
Pour the mixture over your bread.
Place the casserole dish into a pan of hot water, 1 inch deep.
Bake in the oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
Remove from oven.
To prepare the vanilla sauce, in a bowl, add 3 cups of milk and 1 package of instant vanilla pudding.
Mix together until well combined.
Pour as much of the vanilla sauce over the bread pudding as you like.
Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
