This recipe is easy to throw together and it makes a light, fluffy cake.
Ingredients:
Batter
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
2 cups fresh blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray an 8 x 8 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
Clean 2 cups of fresh blueberries. Set aside.
To make the batter, in a bowl add flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Stir together.
Add milk, butter and vanilla.
Stir until well combined.
Place into prepared pan.
To make the topping, in another bowl add blueberries and sugar. Stir together.
Place evenly on top of batter.
Bake in the oven for 45 - 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
