Cobbler similar to dump cake without the calories of butter. This can be halved easily but keep pie filling the same.
Ingredients:
2 -(21 oz.) cans Cherry Pie Filling
1 - (18.25 oz) Box Yellow Cake Mix
1 - 12 oz. can 7-up (or any lemon lime soda , even diet)
Chopped pecans
Directions:
Pour entire can of cherry pie filling into a 13x9x2 glass pan (do not grease); covering entire bottom of dish.
Add as many chopped pecans as you wish over cherries.
Pour entire box of dry yellow cake mix over nuts then pour the entire 12oz can of 7-Up over top of cake mix.
At this point I usually take a fork and softly go back and forth over the top to incorporate any pockets of dry cake mix, while not actually mixing it up.
Bake in a 350º F oven for 45 minutes.
