Banana Cream Cheese Bread


This easy bread has a delicious flavor and texture.




Ingredients:

  • 1, 8 ounce package cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Take a loaf pan and grease and flour it. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, sugar and butter.
Mix together until well combined.
Next, add the mashed bananas, vanilla and eggs.
Mix together until well combined.
In another bowl, add the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Whisk together until well combined.
Now fold this into the banana mixture just until it is moistened.
Then fold in the chopped nuts.
Spread the batter into your prepared pan.
Bake in oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
Then remove from pan and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
