Pumpkin Chili |
Ingredients 3 lbs ground beef 2 cups fresh pumpkin or canned pumpkin 2 (16 ounce) cans red kidney beans 2 medium onions, chopped 3 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes 1 cup fresh, sliced mushrooms 1/4 teaspoon red peppers 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chili powder Directions In a large pot, add ground beef. Brown over medium-high heat. Drain any excess liquid. Add the remaining ingredients. Stir together until well combined. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 or 2 hours, stirring occasionally. |
