Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
2 teaspoons butter
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
2 small or 1 large diced potato
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon thyme
8 cups chicken stock
2 teaspoons or 2 cubes chicken bouillon
4 to 8 ounces egg noodles
2 cups cooked chicken
salt and pepper, to taste


Directions
In a large stock pot, add butter and melt.
Then add celery, onion and carrots
Saute for a few minutes.
Then add potatoes, poultry seasoning, thyme, chicken stock and chicken bouillon.
Stir together well and then bring to a boil.
Next, add the egg noodles and chicken.
Stir together and then simmer on low for 20 to 30 minutes, or until done.
Salt and pepper to taste.
