Mexican Cornbread Casserole

Ingredients
2 boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix (already made with milk and eggs)
1/2 cup sugar
1 can cream corn
1 lb ground beef
1 onion chopped
2 peppers chopped (optional)
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese





Directions
Brown ground beef, add onions and peppers, then drain. Set aside.
Prepare Jiffy Mix according to package, then add sugar and cream corn to mixture.
In a 9 x 13 dish, pour half of cornbread mixture.
Sprinkle all beef in dish covering cornbread mixture.
Cover with 2 cups of cheese.
Now pour the other half of cornbread mixture and spread with knife to cover cheese.
Place in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
