Country Salisbury Steak |
Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1, 6 ounce package Stove Top Stuffing Mix 1 1/2 cups water, divided 3/4 cup onions, chopped 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced 1/2 cup barbecue sauce Directions Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, add the ground beef, stuffing mix, 1 1/4 cups water and onions. Mix together until well combined. Shape the mixture into six even patties. Place onto a baking pan. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until cooked through. Take a large skillet and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Add the sliced mushrooms. Cook over medium high heat for 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Next, add the barbecue sauce and remaining 1/4 cup of water. Reduce the heat and cook for a few minutes until the sauce is heated through. Pour sauce over the cooked patties to serve. |
