Beefy Mac

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3, 14.5 ounce cans stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup macaroni, uncooked
parmesan cheese (optional)



Directions
In a large, deep skillet or pan, add ground beef and chopped onion.
Brown over medium high heat. Drain off any excess liquid.
Add stewed tomatoes and sugar.
Stir together and bring the mixture to a boil.
Pour in the macaroni and stir.
Reduce the heat and cover with a lid.
Stirring occasionally, simmer this for about 15 - 20 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
Remove from heat.
Serve with grated parmesan cheese on top (optional).
