Sweet Cheese Ball

Ingredients
1 cup finely chopped pecans
12 maraschino cherries
2, 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2/3 cup flaked, sweetened coconut

Directions
Finely chop enough pecans to make 1 cup and set aside.
Drain maraschino cherries on paper towels. Chop into small pieces and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Beat together until light and fluffy.
Add coconut and mix together well.
Fold in your chopped maraschino cherries.
Form the mixture into a ball and roll it into your chopped pecans.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator.
