Pineapple Cream Cake |
Ingredients 2 cups flour 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained 2 eggs 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Frosting 8 ounces cream cheese 1/2 cup butter 1 1/3 cups confectioners' sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla Directions Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Take a 9 x 13 baking pan and grease it. Set it aside. In a large bowl, add flour, sugar, pineapple, eggs, baking soda, vanilla and walnuts. Mix together, by hand, until well combined. Pour the mixture into your prepared pan. Bake in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. To make the frosting, in a bowl, add cream cheese, butter, confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Mix together until the frosting is smooth. Evenly spread the frosting on top of the cooled cake. |
