Tips, Tricks and Ideas - Greek Yogurt Whipped Cream

  • Chill your mixing bowl and whisk or beater attachments before whipping the cream. This will help the cream whip up faster and thicker.
  • Use chilled ingredients. This will help the whipped cream hold its shape better.
  • Don't overbeat the whipped cream. If you overbeat it, it will become grainy.
  • Serve it on top of fresh fruit, such as berries, bananas, or peaches.
  • Use it as a topping for pancakes, waffles, or French toast.
  • Add it to parfaits or yogurt bowls.

Greek Yogurt Whipped Cream




Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

Directions:

Chill mixing bowl and whisk/beater attachment for at least 15 minutes.
In the chilled mixing bowl, add heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
Beat together on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
Add Greek yogurt and mix together until fully combined. Be careful not to overmix.
