Crunchy Peanut Brittle |
Ingredients 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup water 1 cup raw peanuts 2 tsps baking soda Directions In a heavy saucepan, add sugar, light corn syrup, water and raw peanuts. Cook on medium heat, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the sugar is dissolved. Cook until the mixture is a light golden brown. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Quickly pour mixture onto aluminum foil. You can spread it out with your spoon if you like. Let harden. Break into pieces to serve. Store in an air tight container. |
