Blackberry Cobbler |
Ingredients 2 1/2 cups blackberries (fresh or frozen) 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk 1/2 cup butter, melted Directions Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, add blackberries and sugar. Stir together and then let stand for 20 to 30 minutes or until syrup/liquid forms. Take an ungreased, 8 x 8 baking pan and add flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Stir together until well combined. Add melted butter and stir together. Spread the mixture out evenly in the pan. Evenly spoon the blackberry sugar mixture over the top. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes or until the dough rises and golden in color. |
