Apple Cake

Ingredients
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs, beaten
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup apple juice
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups finely chopped apples
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup whipping cream

Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Take a 9 x 13 pan and grease and flour it. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
Mix together.
Make a well in the center and then set aside.
In another bowl, add the eggs, oil, apple juice and vanilla.
Stir together well.
Next, add the apples and walnuts.
Stir together.
Now pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients.
Stir together until just moistened.
Now pour the batter into your prepared pan.
Bake in the oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.
To make the topping, in a saucepan add the brown sugar, butter and whipping cream.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is bubbly and the sugar has dissolved.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Drizzle the warm topping evenly over the cake.
