Tips and Tricks On How To Make Easy Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread with Glaze
Thawing the Dough: Make sure to give yourself enough time to thaw the frozen bread dough. You can either thaw it overnight in
the refrigerator or follow the quicker instructions on the package.
Rising Environment: To create a warm environment for the dough to rise, you can place the loaf pan in an oven that has been slightly warmed and then turned off.
Alternatively, place the pan near a window with sunlight or on top of a warm appliance.
Glaze Consistency: Add milk a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency. You want it to be pourable but not too runny. If your glaze is too thin,
add more powdered sugar a tablespoon at a time.
Drizzling the Glaze: For a more even glaze, use a spoon or a piping bag to drizzle the glaze over the bread. Be sure to do this while the bread is still warm, so the glaze seeps
into the bread and adds extra moisture and sweetness.
How To Store Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread
Room Temperature: Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
Refrigeration: If you need to store the bread for longer, you can refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Just keep in mind that refrigeration can sometimes
make the bread slightly denser.
Freezing: To freeze the bread, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then place it in a resealable freezer bag. Freeze for up to 3 months.
To enjoy, simply thaw the bread at room temperature or warm it in the oven at a low temperature.
Substitutions and Modifications
Homemade Dough: If you prefer to make your own dough, you can use a simple yeast bread dough recipe instead of frozen bread dough.
Just ensure it's a 1 pound loaf equivalent.
Sugar Alternatives: To reduce the sugar content, you can use coconut sugar or a sugar substitute like Stevia. Keep in mind that the texture and flavor might slightly change.
Cinnamon Variations: Feel free to experiment with different spices. You can add a pinch of nutmeg, cardamom, or
allspice to the cinnamon-sugar mixture for a unique twist.
Glaze Options: Instead of the traditional glaze, you can try a cream cheese glaze by mixing softened cream cheese with powdered sugar,
milk, and vanilla extract. For a citrusy touch, add some lemon or orange zest to the glaze.
Nutty Goodness: Sprinkle some chopped pecans or walnuts over the bread before baking for a crunchy texture.
