Biscuit Doughnuts

Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuits
oil for frying

Toppings (optional):

Cinnamon Sugar:
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon

Glaze:
1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk


Directions
Heat 1 inch of oil in a deep skillet or use a deep fryer such as a Fry Daddy.
Open can of refrigerated biscuits and separate biscuits.
Lay them out flat and use a small round circle to cut a hole in the middle of each biscuit.
Carefully fry biscuit pieces in the hot oil until browned.
Turn over and continue frying on opposite side until browned.
Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain.
(optional) To make the cinnamon sugar topping, add sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and stir together.
(optional) To make the glaze, stir together sugar and milk in a bowl.
Let donuts cool and then top with cinnamon sugar, glaze or your favorite toppings.
