Hot and Spicy Cheese Ball
A delicious cheese ball to serve at your New Year's Eve parties or any get togethers.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
- 5 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 oz monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded
Directions:
Chop enough pecans to make 1/2 cup and set aside.In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, worcestershire sauce and ground red pepper.
Add shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese and shredded monterey jack pepper cheese.
Mix together until well blended.
Form mixture into a ball.
Roll cheese ball into chopped pecans to evenly coat.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator before serving to let the flavors blend together.
Serve with your favorite crackers.
