A cool, delicious salad that's perfect for potlucks or any get togethers.
1 head of lettuce, cored and cut into pieces
1 cup frozen peas
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced celery
1 red onion, thinly sliced
2 cups mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons Lawry's Seasoning Salt
6 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 pound of bacon (cooked, drained and crumbled)
6 hard boiled eggs, chopped
Place lettuce into the bottom of a 9 x 13 dish.
Then layer peas, celery and red onion.
In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sugar, sour cream and Lawry's Seasoning Salt.
Spread mixture over top of salad.
Sprinkle shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top.
Cook 1 pound of bacon until crisp, drain and crumble on top of salad.
Finally, top with chopped hard boiled eggs.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
